My name is Silverblade, and I'm a mogoholic. And an altoholic. It's a dangerous (but fun!) combination. After spending quite some time just building my transmog sets for (essentially) my own enjoyment, I've decided to create a blog showcasing my work. In that regard, it's similar to many other transmog-themed blogs and sites!
What I think might distinguish my transmog creations, however, are the following things:
1) I'm a roleplayer at heart, so most/all of my mogs are rooted in the actual setting, lore, culture, etc. of the World of Warcraft. I don't just mog outfits that look nice, my creations have to really belong to the World of Warcraft (and look nice).
2) All of my characters are male, and all of my mogs will similarly be shown on male characters. In my experience, most transmog blogs/sites tend to heavily favor female characters and models, which is totally fine, but on my site it's going to be all dudes, all the time. Obviously most mogs will still work for either gender, I'll just be using male characters to show them off.
3) I have characters of literally every race, so you're going to see a lot of different races featured here, with all the lore and style that go along with them. (My WoW "winning condition" would be having a max-level character of every race/class combination, with a perfect transmog set.)
So with those things said, my intent for this blog is pretty simple; post my transmog creations. I'll probably post a bunch of creations in the next few weeks, just to help generate some content and fill out the site, but my goal is to eventually settle into a pace of roughly two transmog posts per week (one Alliance, one Horde). If I keep this up and decide I want more frequent posts, I might do so, or I might start taking fan submissions, transmog workshops, etc. For now, though, on with the mogs!
